In addition to playing standard DVD movie and CD audio discs, it's also compatible with playing DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW discs as well as MP3 audio files and JPEG pictures. It also includes a three-way flash memory port that's compatible with Secure Digital, MMC, and Memory Stick media as well as a USB port for connecting a compatible digital audio player. The FPE2006DV has a 4:3 standard definition aspect ratio and a 1024 x 768-pixel resolution. It also offers aspect ratio controls that enable you to watch widescreen, high-definition programming (1080i/720p/480p/480i) when connected to an optional receiver or cable/satellite set-top box via the component video inputs. Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR).
