| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This TV Monitor/Receiver features a solid state chassis that is designed to give you many years of enjoyment.
Amazon.com Product Description Panasonic's affordable, 25-inch CT-25L8's PanaBlack picture tube produces a horizontal resolution of 600 lines--great for appreciating the high-quality component-video outputs from DVD players, gaming consoles, personal video recorders, and satellite receivers--and its two-line comb filter removes blurred edges between colors and reduces dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped t-shirt). Through channel labeling, you can assign an ID of one to four characters (such as KIRO or WNET) to up to 30 different channels. This feature comes in handy when cable systems assign different channel numbers to familiar network stations. The set gives you stereo audio (with 1.5 watts per channel) from broadcast programming via Multi-channel Television Sound (MTS), which permits broadcasters to encode stereo audio within the video portion of TV programming signals. The AV inputs include component- and composite-video (one of which will accommodate any DVD player), and a standard RF coaxial-type input works with older VCRs and cable boxes. You can choose between two sets of rear AV inputs and a set of front AV inputs for extra convenience, as when hooking up a camcorder or gaming console. The set also features closed-caption display, V-Chip and GameGuard parental controls, and an auto on timer. What's in the Box TV, remote control, remote batteries, and a user's manual.
