 Terk Technology AM-1000 Advantage Passive AM Indoor Antenna January 5, 2009
The indoor AM antenna was connected to my Technics stereo receiver and works much better than the loop antenna that shipped with the unit or when using a length straight insulated wire. The purchase was well worth the cost so that I could hear AM talk radio broadcasts using the stereo receiver vs. having to take out a portable AM/FM radio.

I read many reviews about the Terk AM Advantage Antenna. Most of them are very positive. I must admit I was still doubtful. At work I have no AM reception at all. So when I received the antenna I used it at work and was quite surprised at the results. I was able to receive all my favorite AM stations and others that I was not aware of. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.
Great product - have been looking for something like this! December 6, 2008
I was a little sceptical about this product but after reading some of the reviews here, decided to give it a try. I have a Nakamichi receiver and the tuner would get some of my favorite AM stations (for football / baseball games) but they would sometimes cut out with a lot of static replacing the sound. I ditched the existing antenna (the one which came with the receiver) and replaced it with this one. Bingo ! The difference was immediately noticeable and I could now listen to all my stations without static and even if I turned up the volume a little bit, there was little or no distortion. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for improved AM reception.

The Terk AM antenna has definitely helped the reception, particularly on a station that used to come in with a lot of static noise. It has done
everything Terk said it would do!!!
Noticeable Enhancement November 11, 2008
I purchased this antenna for use with my Superadio. It does provide s noticeable improvement over reception without the antenna. In an area with high levels of interference, this antenna does a good job of cutting through the high pitch whistle. It also does boost the strength of distant signals, but it is no replacement for a good radio with a ferrite antenna.
