This package includes Yahoo! Music Jukebox software, which enables you to bookmark songs you hear on the radio. The song is then moved to a favorites list on the Stiletto 100, which can be accessed by a PC application when the unit is connected to your computer. The application allows you to look up and purchase songs, full albums, or explore artists' other offerings through the Yahoo! Music Jukebox software or other compatible online music download or subscription services. Once the song is purchased or rented, it can be transferred onto the Stiletto 100.

You can easily switch between the two included batteries when circumstances change. The standard battery provides power for 4 hours of satellite radio, 12 hours of Internet radio, 24 hours of playback from your MP3 and WMA files, and 24 hours of radio replays. The more lightweight slim battery is great when you're out and about, and it provides 2 hours of satellite radio play, 6 hours of Internet radio, and 12 hours for your digital library (either MP3/WMA or radio replays).

What's in the Box
SL100 radio, earbuds, antenna headphone for expanded live signal reception, standard and slim batteries, PC cable (USB compatible), AC adapter, and My Sirius Studio software with Yahoo! Music Engine.

4 out of 5 stars Works fine -- great little radio   December 11, 2008
If you feel you need to be on the forefront where technology is concerned there are newer, updated Sirius portable radios that people are talking about. The portable radio isn't all that important to me, because I do a lot of listening via earbuds on my computer, however, the radio has been great. I've had no problems with it (doing what it's supposed to do) during the past two years. I bought the boombox and car kit to go along with it. I'm very happy with all of the products.

1 out of 5 stars Poorly manufactured product   November 26, 2008

Ive had my unit for just over a year now and it is on the end of its life.
The are numerous other people that have the same issue with this product. Personally Ive never paid so much for a unit to have it fail within 1 year. It rendered 2 batteries dead within 1 year, and then just after the 1 year passed, now shuts down when it feels like and I have to go threough a number of steps just for it to record, else it just simply will not.

One of the main forums for sirius (siriusbackstage), delete negative posts now, so dont bet on finding a lot of negative reviews there. Seeing as there is supposed to be knowledgeable people there I posted my issue and was told that this routinely happens to units because of how much heat the unit generates (short life cycle). There is also a know memory corruption issue with the Stiletto 2.

If you do want to fork out the money for it, be sure as hell to buy an extended warranty. By the way, the company that makes them has not renewed their contract with Sirius to manufacture them anymore. Huh, wonder why? Probably getting killed on the returned items.

5 out of 5 stars Sirius Stiletto is Awesome   October 21, 2008
The Sirius Stiletto is an amazing product. I listen to Howard Stern and cannot always listen to the whole show. I am able to record it when I wake up, listen on my way to work and record the rest of the program when I arrive to work. always have new Stern to listen to even when he is on vacation. The love button instantly stores any song or show on Sirius for listening again and again. Can listen anywhere either live or from recordings. I flew last week and had new episodes to listen to for the whole flight. A great MP3 player as well.

1 out of 5 stars Trying to be too much   September 23, 2008
What a disappointment to say the least.

Headphones
-ear buds are garbage. Picked up an aftermarket set that make them sound like they're from the '80s.
-antenna headphones are the only way to pick up signal but DIG into ones ears and sound just as bad as the buds.

MP3 player
-CANNOT CREATE PLAYLISTS...need I say more?

Internet radio
-works okay
-has trouble maintaining signal unless you're RIGHT next to a router.
-limited number of stations
-no recording

Satellite radio
-HAVE TO HAVE AN ANTENNA CONNECTED! You will look like a moron holding the radio to the sky all day, without one.
-"Radio Replays" is a nice feature but nearly impossible to dig through (have to skip one song or "commercial free" commercial at a time).

Batteries
-It's nice they give ya two...
-Neither work well for Sat mode (don't last long) but it's impossible to use the little one.
-Both last long when just listening to MP3s or radio replays.

OVERALL, not worth it. I can only use it in my car and as such, it would have been cheaper to buy a regular Sirius radio...I thought this was the solution to my Sat/MP3 desire but I will still have to buy an MP3 player...

The end result will likely be a higher rating; however, right now it has been returned to Silatto because it wouldn't power up. I am still waiting after a week and a half for them to either return it or send me a new one.
