I learned of this item as it was featured in Men's Health magazine. I am not real pleased with the performance. The motor is strong but the cutting performance is poor and the pivoting head more of a gimmick than functional. I have yet to find a good trimmer that does not rip hairs out and does what it claims.

Very disappointed. Purchased after reading reviews on most of the nose trimmers out there. I've had the Sharper Image standard trimmer for years and even after 2 years it works much better than the Conair trimmer. When using the Conair for the first time I experienced a bunch of stinging needle prick sensations that I guess must be the hairs being ripped out instead of trimmed. Which is weird because when turned on the trimmer is so loud I'm pretty sure it'd power the lawn mower for at least three weeks. Along with the pain, there is a nice burning smell to really round off the whole experience. So, um..yeah...not so much! It was seriously one painful nick after the other.

This bugger has power. The head is a bit larger than most, and it is LOUD. It does an ok job, but not as good as the Panasonic I had before. It doesn't trim as close as I'd like. If the size and attributes of the Panasonic could be combined with the power of the Conair, it'd be perfect.

This trimmer is excellent due to two batteries so it has plenty of power when the batteries start to run down. Sturdy, solid high speed unit, easy to clean, blade stays put when cover comes off. Bad smell(reported below)? You're kidding, right, it's a friggin' electric trimmer!
