Product Description Fresh or frozen, regular or rising crust, exclusive RotaBake(TM) technology assures great tasting pizza every time. Freezer to perfect in minutes with no preheating. Special control lets you make toppings as bubbly and crusts as crispy as you like.
Amazon.com Review This 1,235-watt countertop oven makes pizza in about half the time required by a conventional oven. You don't need to preheat it--it begins rotating and baking the moment you plug it in. There are independently controlled top and bottom heating elements, so all types (frozen or fresh) and sizes (7 to 12 inches) of pizza can be custom baked. With a rising-crust pizza, for example, you should run the lower heating element for 10-12 minutes before turning on the top element. For a crisper crust, bake the pizza with both heating elements, then finish it off with a few minutes of bottom-only heating. For extra cooking time on your toppings, leave the top element on a little longer. A timer with automatic shutoff lets you set cooking times precisely, and a cooking-time guide for various pizza types is printed on the pizza maker. For safety, the appliance shuts off automatically if it overheats. With the 13-1/4-inch-diameter baking pan in place, the pizza maker is 13-1/4 inches wide, 9-1/2 inches high, and 17-1/2 inches deep. (The baking pan can be removed for more compact storage.) It carries a two-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

I really wanted to like this product! October 3, 2008 Unfortunately, this really is not better or faster than using the oven.
I tried three different pizzas and followed the directions exactly. It's just not better or faster than using the oven so I don't want to waste my money or counter space on it. It's going back to the store tomorrow.
Great buy that makes great food! October 3, 2008 The Pizzazz Pizza Oven is a great product that makes wonderful pizzas....cooked to perfection. I have also cooked other items with it including chicken fingers, french fries, egg rolls, tater tots....everything has turned out wonderfully. I love the option of heating from both the top and bottom or just the top. I highly recommend this to interested buyers.
Disconnect your Oven October 2, 2008 We haven't used our oven for years to cook anything resembling a pizza. Although it is designed for pizza, we cook everything on it. Fish stick, chicken nuggets, french fries, pizza, etc. They come out crisp and you don't have to open the oven every 10 minutes to check on your food. It has a timer on it and shuts off the burner elements but the machine still spins. This will allow time for your pizza to cool so you don't get hot molten cheese burn when you eat it. This is fantastic for college bound kids. We put the cook surface in the dishwasher and it comes clean. I highly recommend it! Also it cooks on BOTH sides. This is the best feature. You can also choose to cook only on the top or bottom.
Works great & saves electricity September 21, 2008 Very happy with presto pizzazz. takes very little counter space. Uses less time and less electricity than oven. enjoy watching pizza cook in open and stoping when done just the way you like it.
Achieve restaurant quality pizza at home. September 16, 2008 I've always been a fan of pizza, but cooking them in the oven is almost always a disaster - they never cook evenly. Either the top is golden and the bottom is burnt, or the whole thing is undercooked....and with the rising crust pizza it's doubly so. This caused me undo heartache.....one of my favorite foods and I can't make a decent one at home. That was, until, my sister bought me this little gem. The Presto Pizzazz Pizza Oven is ready to use straight out of the box - no assembly required. The head unit is small enough to fit almost anywhere in your kitchen, while the large, fourteen inch plate can be stored in your pantry when not in use.
With a non stick coating clean up is a breeze. Just detach the base from the head unit and either use it as your serving plate or transfer the pizza to another plate, and wash.
O.K. I've discussed all the features except the most important one....how is the finished product? Superb! The pizza always cooks evenly and I have yet to ruin one. It has a timer that is spot on accurate and it allows you to control how you wish to cook your pizza. If you want a crispy crust, just leave the bottom heating unit on for a few minutes longer. Presto has created a fun, easy, attractive way to create restaurant quality pizza in the comfort of your own home. I really can't recommend this product highly enough. Ah, but before I award it that fifth star, it does have one warning: Do not forget the system is on or allow children to operate it unsupervised. The heating coils aren't protected which could cause a child to severely burn themselves or potentially start a fire if forgotten about.
