Product Description The screwpull foilcutter is simple and clever innovation designed to remove the foil crown from a wine bottle. It cuts with a gentle squeeze and twist, neatly and cleanly. An indispensable tool for the wine lover!

Screwpull is the best! August 26, 2010 Elisabeth We have tried other brands of wine foil cutter's, but screwpull is the best! Our last two "off" brands
broke at our vacation home and we finally bought the screwpull like we have at home. Works great! Cheers!
It does one thing and it does it well. August 6, 2010 K. Bolinsky (Mississippi) I know it's not classy, but I've always used the point of the corkscrew to score the foil, which I then peeled by hand from the neck of the bottle. With my new Screwpull corkscrew, though, the tip doesn't extend beyond the guards -- so I had to find another way.
This little fellow, with its four cutting wheels, effectively decapitates the foil so that the top pulls off the bottle like a little cap.
Pretty foolproof, works every time! It would make a great stocking-stuffer!
Best Cutter May 30, 2010 M. Dana (Commerce Twp., MI USA) Have used many of these, and the Screwpull is the best. Good price also as you do want to replace them every once and a while as the sharpness diminishes over time, 1-2 years. A great product and will buy again.
Works great! April 2, 2010 Gauteng (VA, United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have traditionally employed a sharp knife or scissor blade to get past the bottle foil at some risk. This device offers a a safer and less clumsy way to get the job done. Simply place it over the top of the bottle so that the four cutting wheels are lined up with the neck and grasping the body of the bottle, rotate the bottle. When the top of the foil is cut, pop it off and there's the cork. The build quality suggests a long life and it has now earned a spot in my utensils drawer.
Disappointed March 1, 2010 William T. Armstrong (San Francisco, CA United States) I purchased this from Amazon 2 years ago. Within 10 months one of the little wheels fell off. We tried to glue it back and it promptly fell off again. I'm looking for another brand to try.
