My wife and I performed a blind taste test on some red wine that really needs to breathe a considerable amount of time to develop full flavor - there is a noticable difference between wine aerated with this pourer and wine just poured from the bottle. After allowed to breathe for 45 minutes, wine poured from the bottle and wine aerated with this pourer are not noticably different - quite an impressive time-saver! The pourer also allows precise pouring with no drips and makes a cool gurgling sound as you pour.

After using the Nuance Wine Finer several times, I have to agree that it really does work to improve the taste of just-opened wine. It's so small and portable that taking it with me on trips in my suitcase is no problem. It enables me to thoroughly enjoy a bottle of red wine in my hotel room. And the device also functions with a dripless pour, so no more drippy bottles. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This product actually enhances wine-either an older wine that is near the end or an inexpensive wine. I've even tried it on whites and it has done the job. Easy to clean and easy to use. Make a nice gift for a wine lover.

we did several taste tests with $10-40 bottles. if it's a good bottle of wine, this devise does allow the wine to "open up" faster

America's Test Kitchen happens to be one of my favorite cooking shows. They reviewed a group of wine aerators and said this one was the best.
So, I ordered it. It is simple and very easy to use. I am glad I followed their advice.
It does exactly what it says it will do with no effort on my part. I couldn't be happier.
