This is a great modem. I hand the modem installed and online with in a minute. I read the other reviews, the person who says that they couldnt get it to work probaly dosen't own one.

The Thinmodem is a great size, it fits in the Springboard slot exactly and does not protrude out the back of the Visor, which is a plus if you have made costly investments in a leather case as I have. I too like the other reviewers deleted the preinstalled programs and being an AOL user, installed the Palm AOL software to the Flash memory on the Springboard. The phone cord that comes with the modem works well, but you may want to spend another [bit] and buy the adapter from CardAccess that allows you to use a regular phone cord with the modem. I ordered the adapter as soon as I received my modem, and am now prepared for whatever kind of connection I may come in contact with. If you don't buy any Springboard modules for your Visor, reconsider this one, you won't be sorry you did.

This is the BEST modem for the Visor. With this and my Stowaway keyboard, I now have a fully compact, internet ready computer with me at all times. There are only 2 problems with it. 1. Quality Control - A part of the plastic housing was chipped on my modem. It did not degrade my performance any, and you can't really tell unless you look closely, but it still should not have been sold like that. 2. The cord - The cord has a dongle-type adapter at one end, and a male RJ-11 plug at the other. I reccommend you purchase another cable from CardAccess that allows you to use any length phone cord. All in all, you can not go wrong with this modem, it is the best addition to your visor!

Perfect companion for the Visor. Pop it in and it walks you through the setup. I had absolutly no problems with it. I now only carry my Visor with me when I travel and check email from my visor. I agree to ditch the demo email program that comes bundled for Eudoro mail. Would recommend, no question.
